Sketching Character by Pamela Lynne5/26/2023 She was merely expression her affection in a way that was natural for her.ģ. Elizabeth tried to concentrate on her needlework, but too often her gaze traveled to the window where, if she bent her head just right, she could she could see the trees along edge of the woods.Ģ. Because I questioned these errors, I put Word 2013 to the test and used the grammar check for the following sentences.ġ. Held my attention almost 100% to the end of the book.Ĭons - In spite of some blatant editing errors, I have given this 5 stars. Development of characters is well done also, especially Darcy, Elizabeth and Lydia. Pros - For the most part, this book is well written. There were some humorous places, laugh out loud, also. As one reviewer mentioned, there is lots of angst, and there is a lot of emotion as well. This was a very interesting P&P variation. They can make the difference between a good book and a great one. And for those doing Historical/Regency fiction, an editor knowledgeable in terminology, lifestyles, history, etc. I have left this information for future and current authors who don't avail themselves of a good editor or even college students and others who rely on WORD to cover their backsides when they err. By now a corrected copy of 'Sketching Character' should be available. NOTE: The information below is my original review.
